Short Videos
Here is where you can explore a collection of shorter videos I created throughout my time at UConn. These pieces represent a range of projects creative experiments, class assignments, and personal works that allowed me to develop my storytelling voice and refine my technical skills. Together, they offer a glimpse into my growth as a filmmaker and the variety of subjects, styles, and ideas I’ve explored during my undergraduate years.
Running Against the Odds
Running Against the Odds tells the powerful story of a Narragansett runner who competed in the 1936 Olympic Games in Germany, a remarkable achievement that has remained largely overlooked in mainstream history. His life and legacy reflect resilience, brilliance, and a profound athletic spirit. This documentary aims to bring his story back into public view, honoring his contributions and ensuring that his place in history receives the recognition it has long deserved.
Lost Childhoods
Lost Childhoods explores the lived experiences of Bosnian Genocide survivors, with a particular focus on those who were children when the war uprooted their lives. The film examines the profound impact of having one’s youth stolen by violence and displacement, and it reflects on the long process of healing, resilience, and rebuilding. At its core, Lost Childhoods seeks to understand what it means to lose a childhood—and how individuals, families, and communities find the strength to create a safer, more hopeful future for the generation that follows.
UCMC
During my time at UConn, I spent three years as a dedicated member of the rowing team, an experience that shaped much of my college life both personally and creatively. Throughout those seasons, I took on several video projects designed to uplift and strengthen team morale, using storytelling and filmmaking to capture the heart of our community.
Included here are two of the pieces I created: a winter training video that highlights the intensity, discipline, and camaraderie that defined our off-season work, and a senior farewell video crafted as a meaningful tribute to the graduating rowers who helped shape the team’s culture. Through these projects, I aimed not only to document our journey but to celebrate the spirit and resilience of our team.
