Theodore Paheia Ellison Brown
Theodore-Pahia Ellison Brown “Ted” is a Master Stone Mason, which is a proudly held trade within the Narragansett Indian Tribe. Ted comes from a long generational line of Master Stone Masons, including his grandfather, Ellison Meyers Brown, Sr. “Tarzan” and Ellison Meyers Brown, Jr. “Sonny”. He began learning this trade early in his childhood as he would accompany his father to work every summer. The two continued to work together for many years and he continues to work for himself. In his works, Ted has designed and built several memorials in honor of his grandfather, Tarzan, and has additional commemoratives planned or the future.
Ted is a proud father to one adult daughter, Keowa, and two beautiful granddaughters, Ellison and Rowan. The extended family is working together planning and coordinating additional projects commemorating Tarzan’s legacy.
